LHP Bill Bray this morning had "Tommy John" surgery to repair the torn ulnar collateral ligament in his left elbow (Dr. Timothy Kremchek)...he is expected to miss 10-12 months...Bray has been on Class AAA Louisville's disabled list since 4/16.
You have to feel bad for Bray - he's had an awful time of it. Was he the pitcher the Reds have claimed Bowden knew was hurt when he was traded here, and has that dispute ever been settled? Can anything be done with Bowden out of Washington?

You're thinking of Gary Majewski. The grievance was dropped last year when the new GM took over.
