29 other teams would have fired bith the GM and Manager. Here? Nah cant do that lets blame injuries. Hmm the Reds are tge only team that had injuries. Cardinals have injuries they go get help. Not the Reds!!!! They hold the coaches under Price accountaboe. Not tye GM who cant build a lasting Winning team or tye Manager that cant motivate or hold bad playing players accountable. Plus tell me hiw many managers that loose maybe 99 games keep thier jobs???? Well Bob good luck selling tickets to watch a last place team in 2016 @ beyond. Foxsports would be dumb to give the unwatchable Reds @billion dollar tv deal.

Very disappointed. At least I won’t get my hopes up for next year. I wonder what the players think, if they could be truthful. Oh well, congratulations to the Price supporters.

Horrible. NOT the development one would hope. Another season to look forward to of goofin around with lineups absent real game/player mgmt skill. OK ownership – after couple months we’ll be sayin: How’s this working out for you?”

this proves castellinni only cares about money and not winning. there is no excuse to be bring back a manager with the record price has or to bring back a gm who does not have a clue what he is doing. this will only set the reds further back when he finally sees the light and gets rid of these losers or sells the team to somebody who actually wants to win. to keep these guys only because you do not want to pay their salaries for a year shows this owner does not have a clue about what it takes to build a winning franchise. great so the reds get a top 3 pick this year, what good does that do when the gm will draft a guy who will not be ready for the majors for at least 5 years? the reds system which is supposed to be loaded with young talent is so good they saw fit not to bring any of the top prospects up during Sept.despite being 30 games out of first place. I call these guys the not ready for prime time players because none of them are ever will be ready for the big leagues, no instead the reds sign washed up ex-cardinals and guys who were good 8 years and 5 teams ago. if you are a “true” reds fan then do buy season tickets or attend any game. let him, know with your wallet that this not the kind of team you will support. you can bet that next season will be filled with a night or week dedicated to each member of the big red machine and there will be fireworks and bobbleheads nightly to get people to show up. do not go!

DUHHHHH ! The blind leading the blind . Hello last place in 2016 !!!!!!!!!!

Did you see the jocketty interview. Bumbling stumbling Walt Jocketty. What the bleep is going on. Shameful again.

George Grande please come back! We miss you big time!

Nicely said Chris Welsh. We’re tired of getting a line of bull thrown at us. Just win.

The Reds should have a town meeting so we the investors can fire the hard questions at them. And as an investor, I’m not happy with my return. Therefore changes need to be made. I’m as we all are, very disappointed but when the leaders get to keep their positions they should be thoroughly embarassed.
Bob Castellini we expect more from you. This is your mess. Do something to make us better. We like straight answers not cock and bull bs that all three of you have been feeding us. Thank you

The best thing this management team does is lie and feed it’s fan base false hope and expectations . Their sole purpose at these press conferences is to spin all the negative about this sad organization into hope for the future . Guess what . There is NO hope with this current GM and owner . They sucked this year and they’ll suck in the future . Quit drinking their cool aid .

Price is OK, with what he had to work with I suppose he did the best he could. Although I still think Barry Larkin should be named manager, but doubt seriously if he would take this team. In my opinion the GM, Walt Jocketty should be replaced. I always thought the owner would announce the GM & others would return, but Jocketty SAID he would return. Does Jocketty run the entire organization? If yes, no
wonder it’s all messed up. To me Jocketty has done very little to improve the team, the team needs a much better offense, the whole outfield could be replaced, Reds haven’t had an everyday LF in years. And please Marlon Byrd was alright, but the team needs younger much better hitters, yes got to spend $$$$, that’s what it takes to be a contender (as Mr. Castellini promised), so it’s high time to get the job done. PLUS Reds need a much better bench players, and rework the whole pitching staff, and believe me, the return of Homer Bailey will not strike fear into the opposition. And keep in mind, the CUBS- BREWERS-and the always #1 CARDINALS will be improving. It’s awful to think the 2016 will be in last place, over 35 games out. BUT–

Well put . Jocketty needs to go . The problem is Castillini lets his friendship with Jocketty to stand in the way of good business decisions . Jocketty’s time has come and gone . His way is outdated . The farm system needs rebuilt and there has been NO pro enemy on developing players . PLEASE , quit using the injury excuse . Every team has them . Only the LOSERS use them as a cutch in an effort to justify bad player evaluation and bad decisions with money. The Reds need to quit crying and get the job done !

Well put by Old Jim, don’t think I can improve on what he just texted. Reds do need a new GM that gets things done. Until he leaves there is no way the Reds will improve. So look for a dismal 2016 team, may not be the fault of the players, just the one that gets the players and what the team really needs. Enough said.

As I read all these comments most of them hit the nail on the head. Mr. Bob Castellini promised a contender on the field. So what happened? It has to fall back on the man that puts the team together, right? Have the Cardinals got that much better management? Apparently they do. They lose players via trades, injuries etc..and never miss a beat, it’s amazing how they do it. All of us they write in can’t be wrong.
Big changes have to be made in a lot of areas for this team. I just wish that would happen.

Amen !

The problem’s not with Price./How can you blame Price when ownership trade’s all their starting pitchers except for Bailey and your running out rookie pitchers every day./The reds developed and traded well and were winning until the injury bug hit them and then traded their starters./ Destinef to be a small market team.
