I think the Reds are 4-13 since Hamilton was moved from leadoff. Can’t say his increse in average is due to hitting 8th or 9th, can’t say it isn’t. But this is a team sport whose success is based on wins. And the rate of wins has gone down, regardless of the reasons, since the change.

The record probably has nothing to do with where Billy is batting but more with players giving up game tying homers and other miscues.

As Roseanne Roseannadanna would say: “Well, it just goes to show you, it’s always something — if it ain’t one thing, it’s another.”

So true LOL

At least it’s safe to say Chapman is fine. You think he was pissed off at all last night? Lol, he Looked scary good.

He did indeed.

Iglesias to the DL with a strained oblique. Moscot making the start today. He’s been tearing up triple A. Happy we get to see him make a start. Marquis also finally sent packing! That took way too long.

The good and the bad as always. The good is Marquis gone. The bad Iglesias on DL. At least Reds didn’t drag it out. Glad to see Moscot up but he has a tough job tonight against Ross, who has hancuffed the Reds in the past.

Overall I liked Moscot. Control issues but that could have been jitters. We’ll see. Liked his pitch efficiency after 1st inning. Phillips was spectacular on defense. Once again no offensive production.
