Game #2 to start at 8:10PM ET.

On May 1st, Byrd was hitting:
2 HR, 8 RBI, .163/.190/.263/.453
Since then, over the course of 7 G, of which he played in 6, he is now hitting:
6 HR, 17 RBI, .230/.271/.460/.731
Amazing turnaround; hopefully he will see the cleanup spot soon.

Frazier appears to have come down with a severe case of
“overswingitus”. 2 HR, 11 RBI, .160/.267/.440/.707 w/runners
in scoring position this season.

What the heck does this team see in Villareal? He has done nothing. Anyway win a game loose a game. Wonder if this team will ever win 5+ games in a row??? Badenhop was supposed to be a ground ball pitcher. All I see is fly balls every time he comes in. Ahead 0-2 and gives up a sac fly. Walt failed the team in the off season but gets A+ in the eyes of his boss for the dang All-Star game. Boooooooo

Had Cueto not been used in the 9th inning last night in a run-away game, his
ERA for the season would have been 2.47, and for the month of May it would have
been 3.86. Instead, his season ERA is now 2.98 and for May it’s 5.65.

In Cueto’s last two starts he has pitched 14.1 IP and given up 9 ER;
5 to Atlanta ranked #10 of 15 teams in NL w/team BA of .237 and,
4 to White Sox ranked #15 of 15 teams in AL w/team BA of .247.
