Big offense day for Reds

The wifi isn’t cooperating today so I’m keeping this short and sweet from my phone.

It was all Reds Saturday for a 16-4 pounding of the Brewers in Maryvale. The full story is on as usual.

Some items of note:

*Chris Heisey was 2-for-3 with a two-out, two-run home run in the first inning. Heisey leads the Majors this spring with five homers. He also hit a double and scored in the third inning.

*Roger Bernadina and Chris Nelson hit back-to-back homers in the eighth.

*The Reds’ 18 hits are their second-most this spring. They had 20 hits vs SD on March 2.

*The 16 runs are the Reds’ most in a spring game since a 16-4 win over the Yankees on 3/28/02.

It’s Mr. Heisey from here on out.

The “free Chris Heisey” from Dusty mantra is now paying dividends.

Probably has little to do wiht Dusty but more to do with the changing of the placement of his hands on the bat.
