Very little clutch hitting on this team; across the lineup. If we do get the big hit, it is inconsistent and usually against lower level teams/pitching, earlier in the year. Example:
Bottom 5th: Cincinnati
Zack Cozart doubled to right center
Hénry Rodríguez ran for Zack Cozart
Devin Mesoraco grounded out to shortstop
César Izturis grounded out to third
Ryan Hanigan hit for Greg Reynolds
Ryan Hanigan popped out to shallow center
End of Inning (0 Runs, 1 Hit, 0 Errors)
These are major league players, aren’t they? Why can’t they get it through their heads
that with a man on second and nobody out, the worst thing you can do is ground the ball ahead of the runner? Yet, the Reds have done this for a very long time. I am truly
shocked we continue to do this. We continue this practice; we haven’t got a snowballs chance in hell to win anything.

If I turn on the TV Tuesday night and Dusty has Ludwick in the 2 hole, I will immediately switch channels and watch the damn VOICE…..hell, I should change channels if I see Dusty in the dugout…

Yeah. Agree! Would be a real send us over the edge move.

Joe Gerardi will be available soon.

Love how we play our starters against their bench and still lose…

Hey Mark. Seems like a few more people want Dusty gone. I guess I’m not alone after all. What are your true feelings about Dusty as a manager ?
