Put Xavier in as DH —that would be our line-up for the 1st play-off game-We’ll start Chapman
In any “first” possible play-off game participated in by the Cincinnati Reds, there would be no Designated Hitter to be employed in the starting line-up. First World Series match-up, yes, but ONLY if that series were to start in an American League venue.
By the way, if we’re talking scenarios in 2013, no way Chapman starts the first post-season game with people like Cueto and Latos hovering about.
