*I was not scheduled for the trip to Miami, but I will be there for the series at Chicago starting on Tuesday. The magic number remained at 8 entering today…but it’s possible if things go the Reds way, that they could clinch the NL Central at Wrigley Field. We will just have to wait and see.

Mark, I live about 45 minutes from Chicago and will be at the game on Wednesday night with my girlfriend. Section 35 row 2 right by the Reds dugout. It would be cool to be able to get some autographs from some of the guys or something if there’s any strings you can pull…Hahaha…I would definitely like to add a JV autograph to the collection and since I’m all the way out here, that’s not a very easy task.
Okay – Monday noontime. Magic number is 5. When will the Reds clinch? I say Friday. What say you?
I would say Friday, but the Cardinals play the Astros for three, so they might not help us out. I’m hoping it lasts until Saturday, I have tickets Saturday Sunday.
