*No roster moves have been announced yet. The team needs to add Jonathan Broxton. As for Brandon Phillips, despite his assertion that he would be out “a while,” I suspect the club will hold off on the DL, at least until it can see if he is able to play vs. the Pirates this weekend.
UPDATE — Reds are not going to DL Phillips. Dusty Baker said he would be off today and tomorrow, and they were hopeful he might be available for the Pirates series.
