*LHP Gio Gonzalez could be a handful for the Reds tonight. In two career starts, totaling 14 innings — Gonzalez has not allowed a run. He gave up two hits with no walks and seven strikeouts on April 12 vs. CIN at Washington.
*The Reds pitching staff ranks fifth in the NL with a 3.27 ERA. They are 12-6 with a 2.64 ERA over the last 18 games.

Game #5 for me tonight. Finally some nice weather.

Enjoy…a pitching match-up generated out of hell, but those don’t always turn out according to expectations. Maybe your presence will make the difference!
Why are we still playing Ludwick in left field
Well because Dusty probably if he is a good manager is trying to tell the Jocketty nrain trust hey we need help.
Nats, currently, have the best pitching staff in MLB. Have been watching this assemble for several yrs. in DC. Reds found this out back in April. They will find out again this series. (Am a Reds fan, but can appreciate what others are doing.) The Nats are waaaay ahead in the pitching dept. And good pitching ALWAYS defeats good hitting. Any student of the game knows this.
imagine that josh hamilton guy batting behind votto
Oh, yeh! Another great talent evaluation by the Reds. Have watched this for 60 yrs. and could go on and on with other examples, but will spare you the aggravation.
