Day 3 of camp in pictures
There was a little less going on today as pitchers were given the day off from throwing in the bullpen. They just did the drills like fielding comebackers to the mound and covering first base for the 3-6-1 double play. Some of the early arrivals took batting practice like Jay Bruce, Todd Frazier, Chris Heisey and Zack Cozart.

I hope they work long and hard on fielding. Early last year there didn’t seem a pitcher in the league who could make the throw to first on the comebacker. And I understand this is the only tome all year pitchers work on it. Can that be right?
