Monday am: Swept. Gack! Mark, what’s your assessment of the young’uns? Francisco, Heisey, Cozart, Mesoraco, Frazier, Alonso, Sappelt and Chapman? Keepers?
I would say I’ve been most impressed with Alonso, followed by Francisco. Frazier hasn’t hit well but plays decent defense. It’s too early to judge on Mesoraco, Cozart. As for Chapman, when they space out his outings, he’s fine. For a reliever though, you’d like a little more repeatability.
