*And if you don’t mind some non-Reds news, Hall of Famer and former Twins great Harmon Killebrew announced today he was entering hospice care as he loses his fight against esophageal cancer. I had the prvilege to interview Harmon a few times in person when I covered the Twins and occassionally talked with him on the phone as well for stories. He could not have been more gracious to speak with and there isn’t a nicer gentleman around the game of baseball.

What is going on with Arendando, I know his rehab assignment is done. Will he be activated? Who will be sent down?

Harmon Killibrew was a star when I was a lad, one of the Senators who went with the team to Minnesota just in time to get good. I finally grew up enough to be glad he got his World Series win. Probably would never have happened in D.C. Sorry to hear of his plight.
