Sparky Anderson in failing health
Sad news out of California this morning…
A Message from the Family of Sparky Anderson:
Hall of Fame Manager Sparky Anderson has been placed in the care of hospice for complications resulting from dementia at his home in Thousand Oaks, CA.
The Anderson family, which consists of wife Carol, sons Lee and Albert, and daughter Shirley Englebrecht, wishes to express appreciation to all friends and fans for the support and kindness they have shown throughout Sparky’s career and retirement.
