*In what was a procedural move, RHP Jose Arredondo’s contract was purchased and he was placed on the 60-day disabled list. Arredondo was a non-roster invitee to Spring Training and is rehabilitating from Tommy John surgery. He won’t pitch this season.

Can you ask Baker after the game why he brought Rhodes in to face Anderson Hernandez? Hernandez has a much better split vs. LHP than RHP. Maybe Baker had a hunch. It worked out, and Rhodes is great. But I just wonder what Baker’s thinking was.
