Chapman not pitching Monday

A blister appears to have pushed back Reds prospect Aroldis Chapman’s next start for Triple-A Louisville. Chapman was slated to start on Monday vs. Scranton-Wilkes Barre but that turn will be taken instead by right-hander Ben Jukich.

Against Lehigh Valley on Wednesday, the 22-year-old Chapman pitched 5 2/3 scoreless innings with three hits and three walks allowed. He struck out seven and earned a 4-2 victory but had to leave with two outs in the sixth when a blister developed on his left middle finger.

It was not known how long Chapman would be out.
