Alonso’s got 12 RBI in 11 games – and is batting .244. Hard to know what to make of it. Mark, have we got non-pitching prospects to trade? I mean, suppose for a moment that Alonso could play 1B for the Reds in 2011, moving Votto to LF. Have we got OF prospects now we could trade for a starting 2B or SS (I like Phillips at short, but will reconcile myself to him winning gold gloves at second if I have to).
Also _ I think I’ve got VWL and DWL and AFL, but I’m stcuk on LMP: ‘Let me pitch!’ ‘Lots more pinetar’ ‘Look! Minnie Pearl!’
LMP is the Mexican League. I apologize for leaving out some info like the team each guy was with. The team names were so long in the excel file I received that the only way it could format correctly on the blog was cutting them out.
