Rough first outing for Bailey

Homer Bailey started Triple-A Louisville’s opener vs. Columbus Thursday night and the line wasn’t too pretty. Bailey gave up nine runs (eight earned) and nine hits in 5 1/3 innings (1bb, 5k, 3hr). Bailey was also charged with 2 throwing errors. The Bats were defeated 12-4.

Adam Rosales played third base and had two hits, including a solo homer.

In Class A Sarasota’s first game, 1B Yonder Alonso went 1-for-3 with two walks and three runs scored.
