Volquez to pitch, lineup
Count me as optimistic about Goodyear but the last day and a half underscored the point that it’s a shame the Reds leaving Sarasota. I will really miss Siesta Key. I never thought I’d say that but you can’t beat that beach or those sunsets.
It’s back to baseball today and I just got the travel roster. Edinson Volquez is on it and will pitch out of the bullpen against the Twins behind starter Micah Owings. I’m still a couple of hours away from leaving for Fort Myers to talk with Volquez, Dusty Baker, etc.
For now, here is the Reds lineup. The game starts at 7:05:
